A: The New York Lottery Players Club is a promotion that allows you to enter your non-winning scratch-off tickets or any unclaimed draw game ticket purchased within the last 60 days for a second chance to win.
Q: How does it work?
  1. Enter your eligible tickets into the New York Lottery Players Club. You can do this by key entry or by scanning your ticket on a mobile device using the NY Lottery Players Club mobile app.
  2. You will receive a random number of entries into one of the Players Club Weekly Drawings. Number of entries received will be equal or greater to the price of the ticket entered.
  3. Select which drawing you want to enter your entries into from your choice of $500 Cash or Shopping Points to spend at the Players Club Store.

A: There will be a drawing every week to award prizes for each category and at the end of each month there will be a drawing for 10 prizes of $2,500 Cash.

Q: Which games are eligible for the New York Lottery Players Club Promotion?
A: All New York Lottery games listed on the Eligible Games List page are eligible. Non-winning Scratch-Off tickets listed on the Eligible Games List are eligible. Only unclaimed winning or non-winning Draw Game tickets sold within the last sixty days are eligible. One ticket is required per entry.
Q: Are winning tickets eligible for the New York Lottery Players Club Promotion?
A: Only Non-winning Scratch-Off tickets, Non-winning Draw Game Tickets, and Unclaimed Winning Draw Game Tickets are eligible.
Q: Can I enter the New York Lottery Players Club Promotion drawings more than one time?
A: Yes, you may enter the drawings as many times as you wish, up to the maximum of twenty-five (25) tickets per day. Each entry requires the submission of one eligible ticket that has not yet been submitted.

Q: How many tickets can I enter?
A: You may enter up to twenty-five (25) tickets per day. The clock starts at 12:00:00 a.m. ET and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET.
Q: What happens if I submit my entry after the deadline for one of the New York Lottery Players Club Promotion drawings?
A: Entries not received by the specified deadline for a drawing will be automatically entered in the next scheduled drawing. Entries received after the final entry deadline will not be included in any promotional drawings.
Q: What happens to the entries that are not drawn in one of the New York Lottery Players Club Promotion drawings? Are they included in future drawings?
A: Entries not received by the deadline for a Weekly Drawing will be automatically entered in the next scheduled Weekly Drawing. All entries that do not win a Weekly Drawing prize will be automatically entered into the Monthly Drawing. Entries in the Monthly Drawing are not included in any future drawings. Entries received after the final New York Lottery Players Club Promotion entry deadline will not be included in any additional drawings.
Q: Can I scan my tickets using my cell phone?

A: You can scan your eligible tickets using an autofocus camera phone as an alternative to manually entering the ticket numbers. To scan your tickets, download the free NY Lottery Players Club mobile app from the iTunes App Store or Android Google Play Store.

For Apple devices, the mobile application requires iOS version 7 and above and is supported on iPhone 4s and above.

For Android devices, the mobile application requires Google Android 4.1.x (Jelly Bean) and above to be supported.

All supported devices must also have auto-focus and a camera with at least 8 megapixels resolution for ticket scanning to function properly.

Q: Can I throw away my tickets after submitting them into the New York Lottery Players Club Promotion drawings?
A: Yes, you may dispose of tickets after verifying that your entry has been submitted. When an entry is accepted, a record of it appears on the My Entries page. If it is a winning ticket please take it to your nearby lottery retailer for cashing and Congrats!
Q: Can I mail in my ticket entries?
A: No, only internet entries are allowed. Ticket entries submitted by any other method will not be accepted for entry and will not be returned to the sender.

Q: How will the weekly and monthly cash prizes be awarded?

A: Weekly Cash Prize winners – a check will be mailed directly to you at the address listed in your account within 20 business days. You do not need to contact the lottery in order to claim your weekly Cash prize.

Monthly Cash Prize winners - you will be contacted by the New York Lottery to complete a claim form.  Once your claim has been processed and approved by the NYL, your prize will be mailed directly to you at the address listed in your account within 20 business days.

Q: What is the New York Lottery Players Club Store and how can I get points to shop there?
A: The online New York Lottery Players Club Store is stocked with hundreds of merchandise items from a variety of point costs and categories, including Warehouse Dash® Gift Card Packages. Players Club Points are awarded in Weekly Drawings throughout the year. When the drawing winners are confirmed, the Players Club Store Points won by those players will be displayed on their Players Club Store page when they log in.
Q: How do I redeem the Prize Store Points that I won in a drawing?
A: First, log in to the New York Lottery Players Club site and go to the Prize Store. Available merchandise can be sorted by category, point cost, or search field. Note that there can be several pages of merchandise in any category. Click on an item to see additional information about that item. You can order any of the merchandise items up to your available points balance or you can put items on your Wish List and come back to them later.
Q: How do I place an order?
A: To place an order, indicate the quantity of each item you would like to order and then add to your cart. You will have several opportunities to change or cancel the order before the order is placed. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your shipping address and confirm your order. Once confirmed, you may print the order confirmation. An order confirmation will also be sent to your email address. Please check your junk or spam folders for misrouted emails.
Q: What is the Warehouse Dash® Gift Card Package?
A: The Warehouse Dash® Gift Card Package is a special category in the Prize Store. You can use 5,000 Players Club Points from winnings in the Weekly Drawings to receive an entry into a Warehouse Dash® drawing. As a bonus, you will also receive a $25 gift card! Several gift card brands are available. Drawing winners will be randomly selected for a trip to Chicago where they and their guests will have 90 seconds to grab as many prizes as they can in our merchandise warehouse! Drawings and trips occur twice a year and winners will be contacted using the information on their NYL Players Club account.
Q: How can I order an item that requires more Points than I have in my account?
A: It is possible to win additional Store Points in any of the remaining Weekly Drawings that you enter. Store Points roll over from drawing to drawing. You may redeem your Store Points at any time during the promotion, but any unused Store Points will expire ninety (90) days after the final Promotion drawing.
Q: Why was an item removed from the Points Store?
A: Merchandise in the Store is updated regularly. Items may be discontinued and new items will be introduced from time to time.
Q: How do I check the status of an item I ordered?
A: You can check the status of any ordered item(s) by going to the New York Lottery Players Club Store page. On the page below your Points total, click on View All to go to your Order History page. A list of all the items you ordered and the current status of each one will be displayed.
Q: How long does it take to receive my merchandise after I place an order?

Q: What are my chances of winning a prize in the New York Lottery Players Club Promotion drawings?
A: Your odds of winning are based on the total number of entries received for the drawing and the total number of entries that you have submitted.
Q: Can I win a prize more than once? Can I win in both the Weekly Drawings and Monthly Drawings?
A: You may only win one prize per drawing, but you may win in another later drawing. Winning in a Weekly Drawing does not disqualify you from winning in the Monthly Drawing from a different entry.
Q: How will I be notified if I win a prize?
A: If your entry is selected, you will be notified by the Lottery using the contact information in your player account at the time of the drawing, so please make sure that all of your information is up-to-date. Following verification, winners' names and hometowns will be posted on the Drawings and Winners page. Points Winners will receive a Points deposit within 48 hours of the posting of the Winners file. Your Points will appear on the top left-hand side of the NYL Club Store once deposited regardless of Notification receipt.
